A wintry morning found over 40 guild members present at our December Social. Members sat at tables decorated by greenery centrepieces created by Gwen and the Christmas brunch table was laden with goodies brought in by members and another beautiful centrepiece created by Kathy.
After a short business meeting, Gwen donned her Santa cap and read from her "Naughty and Nice" list, acknowledging all of those serving the guild in so many ways. They were all, of course, on the "Nice" list and rewarded with a candy cane.
Ellen and Donna presented some of the history of their involvement in Victoria's Quilts and introduced Fred Slater who delivers these quilts to the recipients in the London area. Fred also displayed a beautiful quilt done by his sister, entitled "Wild Tymes."
The group then enjoyed an extended brunch time followed by Show and Share. A very festive morning was had by all!
