Gwen, our president mentioned that we have hit yet another record for another cold day for the winter that never ends. It seems as though all quilters are looking for a familiar print in the Sochi Olympic Quilt of 2014.

Wortley Village Streetscape quilts for the Guild challenge by Willy and Nancy
Brenda showed two of her creations that she is doing for a challenge with another Guild. The participants were given two pieces of fabric, could add 3 other fabrics to it, has to have something that floats/ 3d and the total outside measurement to be 85 inches. Brenda is only submitting one of the pieces as the other did not meet all of the requirements. Some techniques would be great if Brenda demonstrated them to the rest of us.
Connie’s quilt is made of leftover fabrics from PJs that she has made for her grandchildren, one of which will be the lucky recipient of this colourful quilt.
Mary’s quilt was made for a challenge for the Modern Quilt Guild. Requirements were to use Riley Blake fabrics that were given to participants and could add solids and it had to be quilted.
