Marilyn Speight is hand sewing her Lori Smith patterned project and plans on hand quilting, as well. Christine Van Dyk is designing the blocks for each calendar month. When hand sewing her folk art, Christine also prefers to hand quilt her work. Here are January and March. Dale Box worked on another set of her "Bowl Pillows". Linda Cox uses a website with excellent prices for Gutermann thread, zippers, needles etc: wawak.com. Sherry Milne is a new member in our club, as well as a fairly new quilter. She is making placemats to perfect her quilting skills. Irene Philip is new to our guild but has been quilting for over 22 years. We found Meribeth Dunkerley currently calling this one "her cursing quilt". Wilma Jansen is another long time quilter (25 years) who has recently joined our guild. Marlene Dunlap is working on her music themed quilt. Two more quilts came in today for the Outreach Program.
