Robin Bogaert presented a trunk show with her quilts sharing lots of great tips. She recommended her web sight “quiltingintheloft.com”, as well as another great website, “quiltsocial.com”. Our social on June 14th will include a silent auction of kits from Joy Love’s estate. The money from this will go to batting for Outreach. Both cash and cheques will be accepted. Don’t forget to bring a treat to share, your own plate and silverware A paper piecing class by Gladys Bidner is being offered Wednesday, November 1st from 8:30 to 3:30 for $60.00. Using this process avoids having to remove the paper after the sewing is completed because the product used melds into the fiber of the batting when it gets wet. Outreach ProgramWe would like to give credit where it's due to those folks donating their time making quilts for the Outreach Program. If you'd like your name over a picture of the quilt to be donated, please send me a photograph with the name you prefer. (Linda McAffer: lindaewing@outreach.com) Please pass the word to those uncomfortable with that process, to approach myself, Louise Coughlan or Mary Veenman at a meeting to photograph the quilt and be sure to provide your name.
