Welcome to our April Show and Share. Enjoy viewing the handiwork of our members. Marlene has four quilts ready to be delivered for outreach. They were "quilted as you go by the row." Julie just finished hand quilting this beautiful quilt. Willy made this lovely quilt using leftover triangles. It is all machine quilted. Gail finally finished this lap sized UFO after making a queen sized quilt from this fabric several years ago. "I obviously bought a lot more than I needed to have this much left over! Because of all this stay-at-home time, I mainly hand quilted it except for the final borders." Pauline has been busy making charity quilts. These two Charity Quilts for children are made with the same fabric. Two table toppers . . . memories of Florida (sniff, sniff). Pauline saw these made up in a Florida quilt shop and made a couple. A closeup of the fabrics gives you a closer look at the small Florida-themed fabrics Susan purchased a kit at the guild auction. No one else bid on it, so she paid the opening bid. The masks help to cover some rather prominent jawlines. Susan just finished this Schlep bag as a result of a workshop held some time ago. |
