Also Jannet was working on a beautiful quilt top.
Our March Lets Quilt Day was well attended and we enjoyed learning from a couple of our experienced guild members. Chloe and Eleaner shared their expertise and skills in paper piecing and hexagons. Also Jannet was working on a beautiful quilt top.

TVQG members had a great time making Pineapple Log Cabin squares under the tutelage of Shirley Bobier from the Marsh Store. Learning and working on a quilt - can you think of a better way to spend a rainy March day? We all went home with at least one block completed, several others underway and our new Pineapple Trim Tool.
Terry Anderson presented a wonderful trunk show covering her quilting journey from the 70's to the present. The first quilt she showed had been her daughter's much-loved baby quilt - at least what's left of it. Terry's favourite shade of green was evident and her use of colourful batiks in traditional patterns really sets her quilts apart. She mentioned Bonnie Hunter a few times and coincidentally, a new library book by Bonnie Hunter was introduced by Barb during the meeting that followed. Members were encouraged to consider taking on executive and committee positions and this issue will be pursued more aggressively next month. Show and Share Participants in the Easter/St Patrick's Day Challenge chose fat quarters as their reward and we loved seeing our members' work during our Show & Share time.
