Front page of the London Free Press shows a picture of a beautfiful quilt presented to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau by the Assembly of First Nations.

Tip of the month: making scrappy quilts using tissue paper and scraps.  Using long strips of scraps and foundation piece them onto tissue paper (which stabilizes them). Trim the to the same size and assemble into a quilt or pot holders, etc.

Everyone present was giving a Christmas goodie bag with Christmas scraps in it.  Challenge - bring completed project to January meeting.
