Let's Quilt Day

What a busy day! Lots of things going on. Sherry Milne did a great job demonstrating how to set up a design board from start to finish.
Sherry shared a good tip; use old rotary blades to cut the board.
Because the glue dries fast, her recommendation was to paste sections at a time. Don't fold the batting over, cut off the edges. Cut a 2.5 " strip long enough to go all the way around the board. Fold the strip in half, and then both sides into the middle crease, zig zag stich to hold. Glue the strip flat on the edge all the way around and then run a bead on the fabric on each side a little at a time.

Outreach Program

It would be nice to give credit to the ladies that make quilts for the Outreach Program. If you've made something for Outreach and send a photo to me, I will be able to attach your name to it. If that doesn't work for you, please don't be shy to ask me to take the picture and make sure I have your name. My email is [email protected]
